What are floor cleaning machines?
Floor cleaning machines include a variety of cleaners, scrubbers, buffers, industrial vacuums, and extractors that deep clean almost any floor or carpet in your facility, in less time than it takes with traditional cleaning equipment. These machines preserve and protect your floors so they last longer and appear more professional.
Who uses them?
Floor cleaning machines help protect and preserve large floors and carpeted areas in office buildings, schools, gymnasiums, warehouses, shopping centers, and more. Both dedicated cleaning companies and large businesses who handle their own in-house cleaning depend on them for routine cleanings and more comprehensive jobs.
Gum rubber squeegee blades are primarily used in shopping malls and other public spaces. Gum rubber squeegees ensure maximum water collection on smooth and tiled floors, leaving them dry and safe for pedestrians. These squeegee blades are not recommended for oily environments. Gum rubber absorbs oil and the material will begin to lose its structural integrity, becoming very wavy, and the cleaning ability will be lowered.
Linatex® is all-around the best-performing and longest-lasting squeegee blade. Linatex is a premium natural rubber in a signature red color. Linatex works well with chemicals and won’t swell like gum rubber. These squeegees have excellent flexibility for more consistent seals and water pickup, as well as rip-resistant durability for long-term wear. These blades would be the best choice in applications where the floor is not smooth or even and there is an oily environment.
Urethane squeegee blades are chemical-resistant. Urethane squeegees work especially well in industrial environments with oily or rough surfaces such as old or uneven floors, grates or environments with sharp debris. These squeegees are typically opaque in color.
There are many different kinds of floor pads and brushes out there and they all have unique uses. You can determine whether you require brushes or pads and which ones based on your cleaning application and floor type. Because the bristle on a brush is able to penetrate deep into grout lines, floor brushes are able to clean uneven and grouted floors better than pads. Floor pads made from high quality material have better floor contact on smooth floors than brushes and are intended for cleaning & buffing flat floor surfaces with consistent results throughout the life of the pad. Floor pads typically do not last as long as brushes.
(Floor Brushes) Floor brushes clean uneven, grouted floors better.
(White Floor Pad) cleans when damp; buffs when dry. Quickly cleans and removes scuff marks and enhances floor appearance.
(Red Floor Pad) cleans when damp; buffs when dry. Quickly cleans and removes scuff marks and enhances floor appearance.
(Blue Floor Pad) For heavy duty scrubbing prior to recoating. Removes dirt, spills, and scuffs, leaving a clean surface ready for recoating.
(Black Floor Pads) Used for floor finish stripping to remove old soiled floor finishes and sealers. Also used to clean heavily soiled hard surface floors such as concrete when used with appropriate cleaning chemicals.
